New Zealand Food Safety (MPI) have recently started publishing a fortnightly bulletin. It is for food business operators to keep up with current food safety issues and emerging food safety risks.
In each bulletin, they:
- summarise reports that may signal future risks to food safety
- track the progress of factors that could lead to new food safety risks.
Each bulletin also has information from overseas regulatory, industry, or media sources. Topics include food safety notifications, food recalls, and food safety incidents.
