Rebecca brings “hands on” practical technical expertise to the team, having worked for some of New Zealand’s most innovative food companies. She has been intimately involved with ensuring new products meet overseas and key customer food safety and suitability requirements, as well as working with food regulators to facilitate export of novel food products.
Rebecca has a strong product development and commercialisation background, including establishing food processing lines, and providing technical support to the design and development of food packaging.
Facilitating regulatory and key customer audits, both to various food safety and organic standards, has also been a core component of her previous roles, and as such Rebecca can provide support and guidance on these sometimes challenging situations.
In addition, she has a sound knowledge of allergen management practices, including implementation of VITAL 2.0.
